Hello fellow Newmar Kountry Klub (NKK) members

The NKK is committed to providing you a re-energized Newmar RV Lifestyle experience.   As part of that commitment, our volunteer teams from Chapter through International levels, as well as our Special Event Hosts, are committed to bring you more events with a wider range of activities.  Our goal is to provide every NKK member the opportunity to have first class experiences and adventures, across the country, with an ever-widening group of friends.

In the past, the annual NKK Quartzsite Gathering in the Desert had been one of many Klub endorsed activities.  The Gathering has had a long history marked by varying levels of involvement by Newmar Corporation and the NKK.  Planning this event incorporates an interesting variety of factors, which includes dry camping on US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land.

With a goal of ensuring all NKK events meet the highest standards, we held discussions with the previous years’ host regarding a “2025 NKK Quartzsite Gathering in the Desert.”  Unfortunately, we have not been able to come to a mutual consensus for the event.  Nevertheless, earlier this week, the hosts sent an unauthorized email to members using the NKK email addresses from previous NKK registrants.

Because of the long history with varying levels of Newmar Corporation and NKK involvement, this note is to clarify that the event to be hosted by Andy & Ellyn Meshel and JD & Heather Harris is not associated with, nor authorized by, Newmar Corporation or the NKK.  While many may still refer to this activity as the “Newmar Quartzsite Gathering in the Desert”, this is an independently planned and hosted activity.

The NKK remains open to many types of activities for our fellow members. Stay tuned as NKK volunteer teams create new adventures for all of us!
