We have been enjoying cooler weather in Michigan as we explore possible venues for our 2024 Annual Rally and Business Meeting to be held the week before International. Is it terrible that we are enjoying days in the 70’s and 80’s while looking at the weather reports back home showing temps in the 90’s and above?

We have just finished up our big event of this year, the NKK Fulltimers Rally and Annual Business Meeting. It was held in Hannibal, Missouri at the beautiful Mark Twain Cave Campground, September 24th–29th. We had 58 coaches in attendance Our attendees enjoyed exploring the history of the area including venues depicting the characters from many of Samuel Clements books (Mark Twain) and Molly Bown (the unsinkable one). Our group enjoyed daily breakfasts, 2 catered dinners and a farewell riverboat dinner cruise at sunset on the “Mighty Mississippi”. In addition, some of our members were able to get out on the golf course for a nice outing. And, of course, we all gathered for our evening socializing around the firepits. It’s our thing.

We had 47 coaches caravan to the International Rally in Sedalia. Once again, this year at International, the Fulltimers Chapter hosted the ever-popular lemonade and popcorn station. We presented several informational seminars to share our collective knowledge. Impromptu get-togethers and a chapter social also took place.

Registration opened on June 27th for our Third Holly Jolly Rally to be held in St. Augustine, Florida December 10th-14th, at the St. Augustine RV Resort. Get into the holiday spirit with the Fulltimers Chapter. Three (3) breakfasts are planned along with a welcome dinner, a meal at Harry’s Restaurant, a pizza party, and the farewell dinner at the Columbia restaurant. We still have a couple of spaces available. Information is posted on the NKK website.

We plan to tour the Castillo De San Marco Historic Fort, the Pirate and Treasure Museum to meet “Captain Mayhem” and there will be free time to explore other historic sites of interest.
We anticipate that all 30 spaces will be taken, however we will maintain a waitlist, in that case, for the event. Contact president.nkkfulltimers@gmail.com to inquire about the status.
