Arizona and Utah State Directors
In an effort to spice our articles up a little, last month I wrote about weather and fowl – specifically desert heat and snowbirds. I may have mentioned spring training for Major League Baseball too, because they all impact our ability to hold a rally comfortably in Arizona. Realizing that it would be tough to top an article about weather and fowl, we decided this month that a mere mortal would not be able to compete. So, we reached out to AI (artificial intelligence) to generate this month’s contribution. No, really, we did. Duane proposed the idea and set off figuring out how one generates something in AI. The first draft was many pages, very general about RV’s and frankly, pretty awful. So, since it took a whopping five minutes to generate AND print, he tightened his parameters and came up with the following:
The sun was just starting to peek over the mountains when we climbed into our Newmar Dutch Star motorhome, excited for the journey ahead. We were headed to Ruidoso, New Mexico for a rally, and the thought of spending a few days with fellow Newmar RV owners was thrilling. Our trip with our travel companions proved to be an exciting one. We had many adventures and made many memories. The scenic views ahead coupled with the French Toast breakfast sandwiches we made on our way made the journey even more amazing. As we reached Ruidoso, we were welcomed with cheers and excitement from the other RV owners. We met new people, enjoyed the rally, and then set forth to Santa Fe, New Mexico. The town’s architecture and history mesmerized us. We spent the day exploring and immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture.
Next on our list was the Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. The breathtaking views and the opportunity to experience Native American culture was truly an unforgettable experience. We were so engrossed in the park’s beauty that the mosquitoes seemed to escape our thoughts.
Our next destination was Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. But we were caught off guard by the number of mosquitoes that swarmed us. We couldn’t help but laugh as we swatted them away and mosquito repellent became our best friend.
The Coalville, Utah Rally was the perfect end to our trip. We reunited with friends from the previous rally, shared stories and created many new memories. As we made our way back to Phoenix, we couldn’t help but reminisce on the amazing journey we had. Our Newmar RV brought us together with new friends, created memories that would last a lifetime, and allowed us to explore all that nature had to offer.

So other than a few small errors – French Toast Sandwiches were in Coalville, Utah and mosquitoes were definitely in Moab, Utah – everything is factually as it happened. And for those of you that were in Ruidoso, you may be thinking, “I don’t remember cheering and excitement when the Paige/Hunt’s arrived?” It happened. It must have happened, AI said so!!!
Now for some serious stuff, the Arizona/Utah State Rally will be held October 26-30, in North Scottsdale, Arizona. Touring the Musical Instrument Museum, visiting Sky Med headquarters, and having a speaker and friends (think fowl with a reptile or two thrown in) from Liberty Wildlife Public Education Program are just a few of the things we have planned. And make sure you bring your Cowboy Boots, hats and appetites because you are coming to the Old West, and you should really look the part! We guarantee your will meet Friends, have Adventures, and make Memories!!
