Hey y’all! We’re Jennifer and Kenny Elliott, proud to serve as the state directors for the Louisiana chapter of NKK. We’ve been happily married since 1996 and have two wonderful daughters, who are mostly out of the house now. Our family is rounded out by two dogs and a cat—our four-legged companions who keep us busy and entertained.
While many RVers we meet are enjoying their retirement years, we’re still working full-time while we travel. Kenny runs his own company, providing custom software solutions to businesses across the globe. Jennifer, on the other hand, is the owner of her own travel agency, helping others explore the world as we do.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of traveling to many amazing places. However, at this stage in our lives, we truly cherish the freedom to hit the road with our pets in tow and discover the beauty of the United States.
Our RVing journey began in August of 2021 when we purchased our first RV, a 2005 Newmar Dutch Star. Since then, we’ve gradually upgraded both the interior and exterior, enhancing our experience along the way. As we attended more organized rallies, we felt inspired to give back to the communities that had welcomed us so warmly. While it’s been incredible to benefit from the amazing organizations across the country, we’ve come to realize that it truly takes a village to bring those events to life. It’s important to not just attend your favorite events, but to get involved and contribute in any way possible to help your favorite organizations grow and succeed.
