The International at Pueblo was a challenge on many levels. As newly appointed regional directors we were charged with overseeing food service working with a new catering company owner. As issues developed, we made process adjustments on the fly. We were fortunate to have the able assistance of our team leader volunteers, Randy & Anna Landreville (Kansas State Directors) and Bruce & Joyce Renick. We also had a full complement of conscientious and in many cases experienced member volunteers. Thanks to all!

We were excited and gratified to see the turnout from Region 3 including a large number of first-time attendees who expressed lots of excitement and positive feedback. A goal of ours was to connect with as many folks as possible, listening and learning as we moved forward in our new role. Our region potluck social, generously sponsored by Wades RV, was very well attended. Thank you, Larry & Patsy Wood, (Region 3 Directors Emeritus), Allen & Natalie Jones (Oklahoma State Directors), and Susan & Bill Effron (Presidents of the Okie Kountry Klub) for helping to make it a success.
The International helps bring home the fact that as a volunteer organization we need a substantial number of folks willing to pitch in and help each other out. It also demonstrates the enormous reservoir of talent we have in our members. Members stepping up and applying that talent to volunteering and leadership opportunities is critical if we are to achieve the ambitious goals set for the Klub going forward. By stepping up, our members can make a meaningful contribution while helping to shape the future.
We expect to have an ambitious travel schedule in 2025, attending numerous chapter and state rallies throughout Region 3. Meanwhile we welcome contact, questions, and recommendations from members. For new members in particular do not hesitate to reach out if you need help with Klub questions. We won’t have all the answers but we always will be able to point you in the right direction.
