Oklahoma State Directors
Summer Greetings Newmar friends! We hope each of you have been out and about in your coaches making new friends and memories. The weather has been crazy, but we hope that all have stayed safe on the road or at your home base.
In May several members of the Okie Kountry Klub chapter travelled to The Road Hog RV Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Arkansas Razorback and Missouri Mid-Mo Wanderlust combined chapter rally. What a great time it was. The weather, entertainment, activities, food and fellowship were perfect. It was great to see old friends and make new ones. A big thank you to Larry & Myra Markley and Bob & Mary Sue Briggs for being great rally host. We know how much work went to this to make is such a fun rally.
International Rally will be or almost in the books at time of publication. We hope that all that attended had a great time, made new friends, and learned something new. Be on the lookout in the next edition of the Legacy for more about the rally and Oklahoma gathering in Pueblo. For now, just thank you to all the Newmar executives, techs, and support staff along with Kountry Klub team and volunteers for all you did. It is a big job!!
Mark your calendar and save the dates April 24 – 27, 2025 for the Oklahoma State Rally at Wanderlust Crossing RV Park in Weatherford, Oklahoma. For those who have been there, you know what a great park this is and for those that our new to the Klub you are in for a treat. So much Route 66 history and a space museum second to none in this western Oklahoma town. The rally has been posted out on the NKK Calendar. More information about price and activities will be added later in the year as we are still in the planning phase. We are excited to be going back!!
In your travels be sure to check out any Newmar Kountry Klub events along the way. These rallies are a great way to learn about other parts of the country, different foods and who knows you might make a return trip to the area.
Allen & I hope that 2024 will be full of travel and new adventures along with making new friends and meeting up with old friends along the way.
Safe travels to all. We can be reached at Allen 405-812-3150 osuallen1@gmail.com or Natalie 405-812-3152 osunat1@gmail.com.
