Michigan State Directors

By now, our Michigan State Rally in Frankenmuth is complete. We had a great time with 26 units and 51 people attending. We did a little Christmas shopping at Bronner’s, a riverboat ride and a visit to the Zoo. We of course enjoyed great food and fellowship with everyone.

Our Region 6 Rally in Kentucky was also a big hit on Kentucky Derby weekend. A Big Thank You to Chuck & Michelle Steenwyk, our Region 6 Directors and also Brad Steenwyk from the Great Lakers Chapter for hosting our Tri-State Rally in Shipshewana over Memorial Day Weekend. This was a big rally with approx. 80 people in attendance from many different States, Regions, and Canada! There was lots of great Amish food and lots to see and do. Everyone had a Great Time.

In July, we had our Family vacation in Cadillac, which was very Fun! We’ve done this for 25 years with our kids, grandkids and now great grandkids! Speaking of, we were just blessed with our 3rd great grandson, Wyatt! We can’t be that old. We were only home for a few hours and then headed to Pueblo, Colorado for the International Rally!

Now, we are looking forward to an Indiana Rally in August, and our Michigan Aires Chapter Rally in September in Manistique, hosted by the Hugo’s and the Boldenow’s. We also plan on visiting The Soo Locks, and the Annual Truck Show at the Mackinac Bridge, two of our favorite places to visit.
