Dave & Karen Woodward – Presidents

Greetings from Western New York State. As this article is written we have just returned from the NKK International Rally in Pueblo, Colorado. What a great time we had. We are looking forward to next year’s International in Lewisburg, West Virginia. By the time you read this article, we New York Lakers will have had our last Chapter Rally this year at Genesee Country Campground in Caledonia, New York. Other trips that we attended between the International and our Chapter Rally are: Region 7 Rally at Swan Bay RV Resort in Alexandria Bay, New York, Watkins Glen Nascar Race at Watkins Glen International Raceway in Watkins Glen, New York, and Penn’s Friends Pennsylvania Dutch Country Chapter Rally at Old Mill Stream Campground in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Western New York and Upstate New York have many rural areas to visit. A lot of people are hesitant to venture to New York State because they think all of New York State is full of congestion and grid-lock traffic. That is further from the truth. As an example, the road that we live on at times has more farm tractors and farm equipment traveling up and down the road than cars. If travel plans to Western New York State are in your future and you have any questions on places to visit, We would be more than happy to help you.
