April Danley & Colin Smith – President and Vice President
Life is better around the campfire! I think we can all appreciate that statement. Our summer has been a quiet one this summer because we had to wait for our new tires for our Coach 6 months to be exact. And as many of you know there is a national backorder on the 365/70R 22.5. When ours came in the date code was 1 week old. Wow! Fresh out of the mold. Colin & I had decided to install the Retrobands in those front tires, and very happy we did. It sure to get that worriment away about a blowout. We had a trip planned to Kentucky in August, so our first stop was to have the Retrobands put on. Finished, and on the road by noon. Next stop was to Flatwoods, West Virginia a very nice area, and the campground was big rig friendly another plus. Now we are off to our destination Whispering Hills Campground in Georgetown, Kentucky just north of Lexington. Great location for us as there is so much to see and do there. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there exploring for sure.
As this is written, getting ready to have our New Jersey Garden Aires Chapter Rally on September 26th to the 29th at the Ocean City Campground and Beach Cabin’s. I cannot tell you how happy we are to work with this Campground. They go out of their way to help us! So, if you are ever in the area please pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed! Mention you read about them in the Newmar Legacy Magazine.
In closing Colin & I would like to wish each and every Newmar Kountry Klub member a wonderful Thanksgiving wherever you may be, be it with family or friends enjoy you time together! Until our paths cross again, have a safe and Happy Holiday Season!
