Hello Newmar Kountry Klub and the Peach State Krackers. The last two months have been memorable. First, we had the Mid-South Tri-State rally in Biloxi, Mississippi, which was interrupted by hurricane Helene. So, a lot of us traveled to the Georgia Mountain RV Resort in Guntersville, Alabama. There we relaxed a couple days before our joint rally with Henry & Mary Blankenship and the Alabama Dixie Aires Chapter. We had 11 coaches in attendance and as usual we had plenty of food, great fellowship and lots of free time to explore the Lake Guntersville area. The highlight was the campfire dinner with Ice cream. The cornhole and axe throwing tournament was a big hit.

 

Now we have just finished the Region 5 Rally in Brunswick, Georgia. What a rally it was; a fitting tribute to the end of 2024! Our new Region 5 Directors, who did an outstanding job, and the rally provided a great view of what to expect in 2025 and beyond.

 

During the Region 5 Rally the Peach State Krackers held our annual chapter business meeting. Many of our members were in attendance. Our main purpose was the election of officers which we accomplished. Please give a large round of applause to our new: President-Tom Mauldin; Vice-President-George Underwood; Secretary-Elaine Mauldin; and Treasurer-Marcia Wendel. Carole & I are excited at what these fine individuals will do to add to the progress and growth of our Peach State Kracker chapter. In addition to the new chapter officers listed above, Linda Underwood has taken on the role of membership coordinator and Debbie Clough has taken on the role of Ms. Lady Sunshine.

 

During the rally the Peach State Krackers added two new members, Daniel & Elaine Koch, pronounced cook and Virgil & Hannah Warren. Our chapter continues to grow and with new leadership it will grow even more.

 

Now we are in relaxed mode for a little while and will be working with Tom Mauldin in the planning of our rally next year.

 

Keep all those who have been affected by hurricane Helene and Milton in your prayers and lend a hand when and how you are able.
