Welcome to Region 5 of the Newmar Kountry Klub.  We are Mike and Beth Klingele of Niceville, FL.  We have been an active part of the Kountry Klub since 2016.  In June 2024, the Newmar Kountry Klub Board of Directors appointed us as Region 5 Directors.  We are excited and thankful for the opportunity to serve the great folks of Region 5.

We would like to thank Gary and Wanda Smith, Region 5 Directors Emeritus, for their many years of service to the Kountry Klub. Their leadership of Region 5 was outstanding and will long benefit the Klub.  When I complained that he left me some very large shoes to fill, Gary told me,  “It’s okay, they’re tennis shoes!” We know all Klub members join us as we wish them only the best as Directors Emeritus.

After four years at West Point, Mike served thirty years in the Army as an Infantryman and Aviator.  Following the Army, Mike was a Program Manager at a science and engineering firm.  Beth was a Health Information Manager and a nurse.  She co-founded DRG Review, Inc. and consulted in hospitals.

Our Newmar adventure began when we were in our Class C at Guntersville Lake in AL.  We watched a beautiful Dutch Star park next to us and met the owners.  This was their sixth Class A, the previous five were a different brand.  They invited us inside and we were hooked.  As they explained all the features they preferred over their other coaches, we quickly realized that this was the coach we wanted.  In December 2015, we bought our Dutch Star.  We joined the Kountry Klub and went on our first caravan in 2016.  It was a wonderful experience!  We learned the full benefits of our coach, as well as the many benefits of Klub membership.  Best of all, we made long lasting friendships through the Klub that we value every day.
