There are many email phishing scam going around. There is one recently that appears to be including some our members. The email appears to be from an individual you may know, their name is shown as the sender but, the return email address used is not real. It is not actually from the individual shown as the sender. It is asking to use your PayPal or similar accounts. The email asks for you to reply. If you do, you may put your personal information, and information about your contacts at risk. Do not reply to the email.
We would suggest you contact the individual shown as the sender directly by phone at a number that is known to you not in the email or to known email address you already have to confirm it is from them, again not in the email. DO NOT OPEN any links or files in an email that you suspect is not legitimate.
