Get Ready for the New Mexico State Rally in September!

Get ready to bring your boots and hats to the New Mexico State Rally! If you don’t have any, you’ll be able to fix that at the rally. Rodeo and ranching are a big part of the culture in New Mexico and West Texas, and now, you’ll be a part of that, too.

The 2025 New Mexico State rally will be September 17-21, 2025, just over the state line in Amarillo, Texas. Last year was all about Indians and the pueblo culture; this year is all about cowboys’ and cowgirls’ ranch life and behind the scenes of the rodeo. This is a packed 4-day rodeo based event. Your rally fee is $275 for single; $550 for double and includes: 3 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 3 dinners, and tickets to the Tri-State Fair and Rodeo.

Some highlights planned are:

• a visit with boot and hat makers with an option to watch saddles being made
• Texas BBQ and tons of Texas food treats (leave your diet plans at home)
• meet with professional rodeo stars and watch “up close” practice of their events
• a working ranch tour
• a day at the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo
• ala carte dinner at the Big Texan (you know the 72 ounce steak place!)

…and more! So consider coming early and/or staying a day or two later!

Once you have signed up here, please send a $150 deposit for your rally registration (this covers your Rodeo Tickets). Payment may be made by Zelle to 703-627-1339 or by personal check mailed to NM State Directors c/o Bob Wilkerson, 60 Cicuye Rd, Glorieta NM 87535. Note in the memo line that the payment is for the NM State Rally.

Also, please make your RV park reservations directly with the Big Texan RV Ranch as soon as possible (806-373-4962). Be certain to tell them you are with the Newmar New Mexico State Rally.
