Missouri State Directors

Hello from Missouri! We hope everyone got a chance to get out and enjoy the fall camping season. The cooler weather and the colorful leaves are always a welcome relief from the heat and Missouri humidity of summer.

We had our Missouri State Rally in Carthage, Missouri in mid-October during their Maple Leaf Festival. Wow, what a big celebration that was with 15 coaches attending! A parade with almost 150 entries, the festival on the square, the tractor show, a huge classic car show (over 500 entries) and lots of great food and fun was had by all attendees.

This will be our last contribution to the Legacy since we are retiring as Missouri State Directors this year. Bob & Mary Sue Briggs have been selected as the new state directors and we know they will do a fantastic job, taking the Missouri Klub to the next level. The Mid-MO Wanderlusts will be needing new officers next year so please consider serving in one of the open positions. Contact Bob or Mary Sue for additional info and/or to volunteer.

Thanks so much to Larry & Patsy Wood for their help over the last four years. Also, thanks to all of the members of the Mid-MO Wanderlusts chapter for all they have done. And finally, thanks to all the attendees of the last three Missouri State Rallies. We hope each of you enjoyed the experience each year.

We plan to winter in Tucson Arizona again this year at Voyager RV Resort. Look us up and say “hi” if you’re in the area this winter. See ya down the road, stay safe!
