SUMMARY:Colorado State Rally
DESCRIPTION:First Step: Register here on the NKK website. We will then receive an email from NKK to indicate that you have registered. Then you may call Sun Outdoors to make your campsite reservation (970-557-0200 and choose Option #2. Cindy Boutelle is our group coordinator). We have reserved 30 sites at Sun Outdoors for the Colorado State Rally. They will collect an amount equal to half of your site fee. The cost for the 4 nights is $374 which includes their resort fee. This is a discounted rate for our club. Their cancellation policy: No refunds or credits after 14 days prior to arrival. However\, if we have folks on a waitlist\, you may be able to recoup part of that money. https://www.sunoutdoors.com/colorado/sun-outdoors-rocky-mountains#about-section-home \nGranby is located between Winter Park Resort and the town of Grand Lake. The Rocky Mountain National Park west entrance is just 20 miles from the campground. There is a small visitor center there. Rocky Mountain National Park is known for Trail Ridge Road\, which is a scenic 50 mile drive to the town of Estes Park. This is to only be enjoyed in your tow vehicle\, however. You can drive the whole way or turn around at one of the many turnouts. September is considered the beginning of the Elk Rut season\, and these animals are spectacular to see and hear. Your opportunity to see them is near the western entrance to the park. \nGranby has mountain biking\, golf\, horseback riding\, RZR rentals\, fishing in the Colorado River and Grand Lake\, hiking trails\, a railroad museum\, rodeos\, and for the ultra adventure\, you could participate in an authentic Cattle Drive in Kremmling! \nWe are just starting to put together the activities that will be part of this rally\, but there are many additional things you might like to extend your stay to enjoy. \nRally Fee: TBA\nReservation Deadline: July 9\, 2024\nChecks Payable to: Nancy Witthuhn\nMail Payment to: 13278 Downing Street\, Thornton\, CO 80241
