DESCRIPTION:The Louisiana State Directors Kenny & Jennifer Elliott and Oklahoma State Directors Allen & Natalie Jones are teaming up to bring you a joint two-state rally in one of the South’s most charming destinations\, Hot Springs Arkansas! \nTucked into the rolling Ouachita Mountains\, Hot Springs has a personality unlike anywhere else. It’s a town where a National Park runs right down the middle of Main Street\, where gangsters once took the waters alongside baseball legends\, and where art galleries and antique shops sit steps away from natural thermal springs that have drawn visitors for centuries. September is perhaps the sweetest time to experience it. The air turns crisp\, the lake views are stunning\, and the pace slows just enough to savor it all. Whether you spend your free time browsing the eclectic shops and restaurants of Central Avenue\, taking in the views from Hot Springs Mountain Tower\, or simply relaxing lakeside\, you’ll find no shortage of ways to enjoy the surroundings. \nWe will be staying at Catherine’s Landing\, 1700 Shady Grove Rd\, Hot Springs\, AR 71901. Guests will make their reservations directly with the resort by calling (501) 262-2550. Payment is due in full at the time of booking\, and you will have the choice of two rate options: \nBest Available Rate — $70.50/night (non-refundable)\nPeace of Mind Rate — $78.75/night (refundable with 72 hours notice\, less a 10% cancellation fee) \nCancellations must be submitted in writing via email to the Group Coordinator no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Only the Peace of Mind rate is eligible for a refund. DESCRIPTION:Come join us in Hot Springs\, Arkansas in the heart of the Diamond Lakes Region! Hot Springs is the number one vacation destination in Arkansas with Hot Springs National Park as it’s center piece.\nKnown for it’s historic bathhouse row\, and historical figures which include Babe Ruth and Al Capone there is a great deal to see and do. We are tweaking the itinerary but there will be ample free time to experience the variety and beauty that Hot Springs has to offer. We are planning 3 meals (2 dinners and 1 brunch)\, two socials and more. Our centerpiece outing will be to the iconic Oaklawn race track on Sunday the 26th for brunch and horse race viewing. We have scheduled an optional golf outing for Saturday the 25th. It will be a scramble format at the Diamondhead golf club. SUMMARY:2025 Explore Arkansas - Special Event
DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for a great stop on the way back north from your winter residence?  Perhaps you are on your way across country to the Washington D.C. Special Event\, or perhaps you are just looking to get out after being cooped up in the house all winter.  This Special Event will provide you with an interim adventure to “make it worth the cost of the fuel” as you shake off those winter blahs and begin your spring travel season. \nWe will explore Hot Springs\, Arkansas and the surrounding area.  Learn about the historic healing waters of the hot springs.  Spend a day watching the Kentucky Derby hopefuls as these magnificent thoroughbreds run for their life chance to secure a spot in the Run for the Roses.  Visit Washington State Park as it tells the story of old town Washington\, Arkansas and the role this town played on the Southwest Trail for those pioneers who were making their way to the Texas frontier.  Afterwards we’ll enjoy lunch at the historic Williams Tavern Restaurant which should sustain us as we dig for diamonds at the Crater of Diamonds State Park.  A jewel of this area is the Garvan Woodland Gardens in full spring bloom with endless beds of tulips and other spring flowers\, then perhaps a contemplative moment at the Anthony Chapel with its vaulted glass ceiling reaching up to the sky.  You’ll also have free time to enjoy a round of golf\, canoe\, kayak or pontoon on Lake Catherine\, or take advantage of the healing waters of the hot springs. \nRALLY FEE INCLUDES:\n6 nights camping—full hook up back in sites\n1 breakfast\n2 lunches\n3 dinners\nBus transportation will be provided Historic Washington State Park and Crater of Diamonds State Park\, as well as the trolley tour of Hot Springs \nIncludes all taxes and gratuities\nTow vehicles are strongly encouraged since they will be used to many of the local venues and activities.\nThe itinerary is subject to change. \nRALLY FEE:  Payable in US Funds\nFull hook-up back-in sites\n2 people in unit     $1600.00\n1 person in unit    $1093.00\nEa.
