Penn’s Friends – Presidents
Hello to all the Penn’s Friends and all Newmar owners. As this is written we are getting ready to go back north around the first week of May, now that the weather is getting better up in Pennsylvania.
We went to Blue Water RV in Key West. We were there for several days. The weather was nice, except it was very windy every day. Winds were 20-25 mph coming from the Atlantic Ocean.
Time to get ready for RV trips. This will be the first year we didn’t have a long RV trip planned. We were planning on going to the International Rally, but we have a previous commitment that had been postponed several times. We will be attending West Penn Travelers Rally in June. Our Rally will be In September 21-25.
Hope everyone had a great Easter. Our family came down to Florida for spring break. Had a lot of fun keeping the grandkids busy and off the computers. They spent a lot of time in the pool, which helped to keep them busy. We went out fishing for the afternoon and caught seven fish for catch and release. After five days it was good to relax from the hectic schedule.
There are several spots left for Penn’s Friends Rally starting on September 21_ 25 at the Hershey Road Campground in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Brian Hubler has completed our schedule of activities and will have a lot of great tours and meals. Brian did a good job on our last rally, and I am sure it be enjoyable to all. Another great part of the rally is the get together and seeing all the friends from Penn’s Friends and all Kountry Klub members and future ones. September is good time of the year to enjoy RVing, hope to see you there.
The pull thru sites we reserved are filling up fast, so call and reserve your spot. The RV spot cost is $450. A deposit is required for reservation. Rally fee of $100 per person.
