Happy New Year everyone! As we sit and write this, we are in the middle of winters grip here in the Pacific Northwest. Snow, high winds bring high snowdrifts and temperatures in the single digits with wind chills well below zero. If you are some of the ones that spend winter in the desert southwest, you have escaped all this; and if you stayed in the northwest for the winter or came home for the holidays, you know what we are talking about.
Things to look forward to, the days are getting longer, and soon we will be seeing spring flowers. Truth be told our crocus were already coming up back in December. Soon we will be pulling out the New Aire and hitting the road for adventures yet unknown.
The planning for our Washington State Rally for this year is almost complete. Those of you in Washington should have received and email from us in December regarding our caravan to the International Rally in July. This rolling rally will be our State Rally for 2022. As a group of ten coaches traveling together, we will be going into the International Rally together as volunteers for the rally. We will begin our rally at Horn Rapids RV in Richland, Washington, and making overnight stops in Caldwell, Idaho, and Tremonton, Utah. The deadline to register for the caravan was back in early January. If you missed the deadline to join the caravan, we hope that you will be able to join us at the rally in Rock Springs for some fun. Those of you that are on the caravan, don’t forget your registration date. More information will be coming to you as it becomes available.
We would like to thank our dedicated member Spike Kramer for all his help and hard work in putting this together.
If you can’t make it to the International Rally, we hope to see you in May at Wine Country RV in Prosser, Washington for the Evergreen Airs Rally. Registration for that rally is now open on the NKK website. Don’t linger – there are only 20 spaces available.
