Well, here we are, off and rolling into another ‘interesting’ year. Lots of camping plans and great hopes that we can all get together again to enjoy the rallies planned in our Region and elsewhere across the United States and Canada.

Let’s think positive thoughts while we wait for vaccines and ponder what new rules will be put in place for large gatherings! In the meantime, let’s get out and camp! If you’re still snowed in, start planning your destinations for the warmer season. Go check in on your Newmar and take inventory of what you have stored inside that beautiful freedom machine! Where can it take you this year? Isn’t it wonderful to have a rolling home to take you away to new and beautiful places?

Share your ideas and destination plans on our Facebook group page. Some of us may have been there before and can give you the ‘scoop’ on what to do or avoid in the area! Ask us for ideas on where to camp in Region Two or what special activities and festivals we shouldn’t miss in the region. Yes, we have BIG parks and great landmarks, but did you know that the Teton Valley has its own Hot Air Balloon Festival in early July each year? It’s almost as grand as the one in Albuquerque!

Have you ever attended a Sheep Run in Montana? How about a rodeo in Wyoming? Have you done any fishing in the Sawtooth Mountain Range? Do you know where the headwaters of the Salmon River are? How many volcanoes (currently inactive) in Region Two can you visit and camp nearby? Let’s be decisive and use our motorhomes to explore like never before!

We look forward to seeing many of you at the International Rally in Lewisburg, West Virginia this summer.
