Texas State Directors

We are getting ready for the International Rally in Rock Springs. As of this week, 47 rigs from Texas have registered and surprisingly 32 of those rigs are currently not members of the local chapter. We are hoping that by the end of the International Rally we will have many new friends who want to get to know the rest of the Texas group. We are hoping that fuel prices will not discourage our group from continuing to travel (Texas is a big state) and meeting others who are doing likewise. Keep looking at the events section in the NKK website. Our next Texas event will be the State Rally at Braunig Lake RV Resort in Elmendorf (near San Antonio). You can register through the NKK site. It is necessary to get these registrations in early so that adequate plans can be made. Additionally, the KLSS VP, Annette Espinoza, has already booked sites for the spring of 2023. Start making your plans to attend.

We are embarking on a new adventure….our refrigerator in our 2018 DS decided to quit! Of course, this happens just before we are planning to leave for travels that would encompass most of the summer. We hope to have this issue resolved long before you get a chance to read this, but it seems to be a common problem. This newsletter would be a great place to share information on issues like this. What did you do to resolve the problem…repair or replace? Who did the work for you and were you pleased with the process?
