The Louisiana Bayou Kruisers Chapter typically has four rallies each calendar year. The January 2020 rally, hosted by Carroll & Peggy Thibodeaux, was held a Poche’s Fishing Camp in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. While south Louisiana’s weather during January is often unpredictable and sometimes challenging, the rally attendees always enjoy the fellowship and exceptional Cajun cuisine, particularly when the Thibodeaux’s are the rally hosts. Thank you Carroll & Peggy Thibodeaux.
The Bayou Kruisers’ March 2020 rally, hosted by Mose & Jan Guzzardo, is being (was) held at Lakeside RV Park in Livingston, Louisiana. The Guzzardo’s have planned for tours of Camp Moore in Tangipahoa, Louisiana and Bracy’s Nursery in Amite, Louisiana, and then following up the tours with dinner at Mike’s Catfish Inn. Good food and great fellowship always prevails at a Bayou Kruisers’ rally. Thank you Mose & Jan Guzzardo.
The dates and location for the Bayou Kruisers’ September 2020 rally have not been selected as of this writing. If you’re interested in hosting this rally, please let the Chapter President, Roland Guidry know. Roland may be reach by telephone at (337) 585-9682. The rally hosts are typically helped with cooking and activities by the chapter members.
The November 2020 chapter rally will be hosted by Bill & Laura Munch at Reunion Lake RV Resort, Robert, Louisiana. The rally dates are November 8th thru the 10th. Bill & Laura will provide details on the rally plans later this year. Thank you Bill & Laura Munch for planning an exceptional rally for the members.
Directors Larry & Patsy Wood have planned a fun-filled Region Three Rally at River View RV Park in Vidalia, Louisiana, for April 7th to April 11th, during the Natchez Spring Pilgrimage. River View RV Park is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, just across the river from historic Natchez, Mississippi. While in the area, check out Ferriday, Louisiana’s “Delta Music Museum”, whose mission is to collect, preserve and exhibit the music heritage of the Mississippi River Delta Region. In the area there are a number of attractions, including the antebellum homes, Indian mounds and the Natchez Trace.
“Laissez les bon temps rouler.”
