Region Six Directors
Hello everyone. Well it is pretty quiet here in Region Six. The campgrounds have been shut down since mid-October and many of our members have traveled SOUTH for the winter. And oh yes, there are those of us that remain here in the cold and have sadly had to put our motorhomes in storage for a brief rest. Our escape from the cold for a short while was when we attended the Tampa Super Show in January. It was nice to break up the long winter months with a trip to Florida!! It was GREAT to see many of our Newmar friends and enjoy warmer weather than we have had here in Michigan!!
As we get closer to the start of the 2022 Newmar rally season up here we are finishing up our plans for the Region Six Rally being held May 18 – 22. We will be staying at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds located in Berea, Ohio. On your first night we will treat you to a Welcome Dinner! Our rally plans include a lunch buffet cruise aboard the Nautica Queen, where you can enjoy an all you can eat buffet lunch with friends while cruising. A shopping trip to b.a. Sweetie Candy Company (the world’s largest candy store) where they have all the vintage candy from your childhood and all the newest candy. You can also make a trip to their ice cream shop if you so desire. We will be visiting the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. If you plan to attend our Region Six rally please reserve your spot asap so we know the correct number of spaces we will need aboard the Nautica Queen! See our rally ad for more details.
Region Six is in charge of shuttle cart service at the International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming this year. If you are interested in volunteering please contact us or look for the shuttle cart volunteer sign-up sheet when you are at the registration area once you arrive at the rally!
Region Six is in need of new State Directors for the state of Ohio. We want to thank Flash & Bev Miller for the past six years of service as Ohio State Directors. We want to thank them for attending chapter rallies, hosting state rallies and volunteering at several International rallies for the state of Ohio and the Newmar Kountry Klub. Thank You again Flash & Bev!!
Our region and all the regions in the Klub have many opportunities for you to spend time in your units with friends. You are welcome and encouraged to attend as many chapter rallies, state rallies, special events or luncheons as you want in any state or region. Please check with rally hosts for any questions regarding a rally or availability.
We look forward to seeing all of you at a rally down the road this year!!
