Region Six Directors
Greetings! We hope everyone has had a great winter season whether you were lucky enough to be a snowbird and enjoy warm weather and sunshine or if you were like us stayed home and endured the snow and hoped for sunshine! We are working on getting the coach packed for another great summer of rallies.
We are ready to start the 2022 rally season!! Region Six has a very full and busy rally schedule especially during the months of May and June. There are four state rallies and a few chapter rallies during these two months. So it will be a very busy kick-off to Region Six’s rally season.
We will be having an extremely busy start to May with the Kentucky State Rally during the first weekend in May, followed two weeks later by the wedding of our daughter, followed by the start of our Region Six Rally three days after the wedding. We are busy planning for both events!!
After our region rally, we will travel from Berea, Ohio to Sault Sainte Marie for the Michigan Great Lakers & Michigan Aire Kampers Joint Rally for the Memorial Day weekend. When we leave that rally, we will then be heading to West Virginia for their State Rally. Wow!!
We hope to catch our breath after we return home from all these events before we will travel to Holland, Michigan to camp with family and friends (we have been doing this event for about 20+ years). During this event we leave for a day or two, and we will have to go to Chuck’s nephews wedding in Wisconsin in late June.
Thank you to those of you that have already contacted us to volunteer to drive shuttle carts during the International Rally in Rock Springs. We can always use more volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to drive a shuttle cart during the International Rally, you can contact us or you may sign up at the rally upon arrival in the registration area.
On a sad note we would like to send our sympathy to the Buckeye Kountry Travelers and the Peoples’ family and friends on the passing of Phil Peoples. Phil and his wife Susie were long time active members of the Newmar Kountry Klub and BKT. Phil and Susie would always greet you with a kind word and warm smile. They made you feel welcomed. Phil will be missed by many.
