Greetings fellow Buckeyes! It’s time to bring the coach out of storage and get ready for the 2022 rally season; that is if you haven’t been wintering somewhere warm. Jeanne and I really enjoyed our winter season in Florida. Jeanne flew home in February for a birthday party, and I flew home in March to meet up with my band mates to do a gig. We were also fortunate enough to meet up with a few of our BKT members also wintering in Florida.

We are looking forward to our June rally that is being hosted by Mike and Kay Althoff at Campbell Cove Campground in Logan, Ohio. The dates are June 10-12. Be sure to get signed up online, and contact the campground for your reservations.

Earlier this year we received the disappointing news that Flash and Bev Miller were not re-appointed as our Ohio State Directors. Flash and Bev were quite instrumental in getting us involved in the BKT and preparing me to serve as your chapter President. Thank you both for all of your help and everything that you have done to make our chapter a success. Flash and Bev have assured me that they will remain active in the chapter, and we will certainly see them at future rallies.

As we enter into this season, I want to remind everyone that this is our chapter election year. The Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer positions are all open positions. Per our chapter rules, current Vice President Jim Fry will be stepping up as our President for 2023 and 2024. Please consider running for office. It’s chapter members like you that make us a strong chapter. We plan to have elections in late October or November. Please keep this in the back of your mind.
