We started out one day at the end of April de-winterizing our RV. The outside temperature was in the 60’s. The water tank was flushed, filled and sanitized; the refrigerator was turned on and getting cold; the generator was running great and the batteries were fully charged. The RV was loaded and ready to fly (well almost ready). I hooked up our tow vehicle and we were ready to go on our first short RV trip in the next few days.

Now everyone knows that weather (in Ohio) is sometimes (always) un-predictable. SURPRISE! The next night the 60 deg. Ohio weather dropped to 27 deg. in a matter of hours, and then, four inches of snow fell (from somewhere). The TOAD we unhooked, left it alone in the SNOW, then put the RV back in the BARN. Well, two days later the temps went up, all the snow melted and it was gone. By the next week, we were gone too.

We think it’s RV time now, for sure. 2021 should be a welcome change from the last year. We plan to attend several NKK rallies this year. We hope to see many of you at those rallies too.

Also, don’t forget our OHIO STATE RALLY, SEPTEMBER 22(Wed)–25(Sat), ALLEN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, LIMA, Ohio. Please call the Fairgrounds (419-228-7141) for camp reservations. We had to make some changes when the Wilson-Football plant cancelled all factory tours for 2021. We have some other things planned. Come join us this year for some BKT-Rally-Fun and enjoy the rally.
