We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season. It is the New Year, 2022, and hopefully it will be better than the last two years. Our rally plans are set for 2022 and we already have a few signed up for the Gettysburg Rally. Sign up for this rally is still open until April.
We were able to reserve 15 sites at the Artillery Ridge Campground in Gettysburg 717-334-1288 and if we need more we can probably get them. If you want to go please call the campground and make your own reservation. The dates are June 16-19. Does anyone have any suggestions on what they would like to do such as: Bus Tour of the Battlefields; Tour of the Battlefields on your own; Ghost Tour at night; or Hershey, Pennsylvania to name a few? If you have not been to Gettysburg it is full of history. Please let us know ASAP if you want to go and what you would like to do so we can plan and come up with the rally fee to be charged.
The second rally will be at Evergreen RV Resort on Route 250 in Mount Eaton, Ohio. August 26-28 (early arrival August 25) we have 20 sites reserved for this rally. It is necessary to call and reserve one of those spots by January 31st. After that they will be released to the general public. The phone number is 888-359-6429. Our third rally will be at the Bob Evans Festival October 14-16 at the Gallia County Junior Fairgrounds Campground in Gallipolis, Ohio and we have 20 sites reserved. The campground number is 740-466-4120 please call after January 31st and make your own reservations. The cost is $25 a night for full hookup.
If anyone has an idea for a rally and would like to host a rally we would be happy to be your co-hosts. Don’t be afraid to step up and help, it is fun!
Bill White, the West Virginia State Director, advised us of his West Virginia State rally June 1-5 in Moundsville, West Virginia. He hopes that some of us can make it. He would like to have a joint rally with his chapter and the Lake Erie Drifters.
As of this writing Region Six has ten cabins reserved for the Celebrity Cruise to Alaska, July 30-August 6, 2023 with Linda Feece.
We are excited about the New Year and the rallies that we will be able to go to!! Looking forward to seeing everyone and making new friends. Safe travels to everyone!
