Michigan State Directors
Well, as this article has been published the Tampa Super Show is in the books for us and some plans are being made of an escape again late February and early March somewhere warmer than Michigan.
And then another trip in April to the Florida State Rally so we should have a great start to the 1st four months of 2022, then staying closer to home for May, June, July, then Rock Springs for the International Rally. When you read all about the rallies posted in the Legacy Magazine, you have many opportunities to travel and meet new friends and catch up with old friends. That’s what’s great about the Klub, you’re not limited to just your state. You can go to as many rallies as you want.
Our 2022 season is in the planning stages. Rallies are being posted on the web site, with new venues in a variety of different areas of our great state of Michigan that members within the Klub asked to go to!
So, bringing ideas to the chapter presidents helps for planning locations for rallies no matter what state you’re in. It’s helpful when a member has a great campground for a rally. With our short season and the number of limited campgrounds that will allow rallies, we found fairgrounds are becoming popular for rallies that can be planned early spring or late fall for full hookup campgrounds in Michigan.
And as a reminder, make sure you sign up for rallies you’re attending through the Klub website, so the rally host knows who is attending and has all your information. It just helps so much with planning. Our Michigan Rally is June 15-19 at the Osceola County Fairgrounds, planning is still in the works but will be done soon.
So as plans are being made for some of you snowbirds coming home to Michigan or warmer state people coming north to escape the hot summer heat, enjoy your travels. Drive safely whether you’re a destination driven, hurry up and get there (that’s me), or enjoy sights along the way. The key is arriving safe!
