By now most of us have our rigs winterized or have driven to warmer climates. As we write this article we are at the Rally in the Keys which we had the opportunity to be part of. Our host at the rally, Gary & Wanda Smith, did a great job along with our International Directors, Ron & Wanda Llewellyn. There were a lot of things to do and see in the Keys! I think the thing we enjoyed the most was going to Key West and the Theater of the Sea. Of course the food, beautiful sunsets, getting to see everyone and making some new connections!

We have returned home, so it was a quick trip for us just 12 days total. We did a quick stop on the way home to visit friends, but we did not winterize the motorhome, as we have plans to attend the Tampa Super Show which will also be our first time there.

We would like to say a big thank you to retiring Michigan Aires officers. Our Chapter President, Carolyn Williams and Treasurer, Alyn Bos for the years of work they have done. We would also like to recognize incoming officers for the Michigan Aries, President Paul Hugo and our new Treasurer Diana Hugo and our continuing Secretary Bob Wheelock. We look forward to working with them.

Our other Michigan Chapter, The Michigan Great Lakers is being led again by President Joe Swartz, his wife Gail as Secretary, Treasurer Steve Luyk, and new Vice President Kathy Morren. We thank them also for their commitment to the chapter.

We are excited to start the 2021 season, as some rallies are in the process of being planned. At this time we already know about June, July, and the State Rally in August. We are still looking for someone to volunteer to plan a rally in September. Please contact your chapter presidents if you are open to hosting a rally.

It’s always a great time getting together with old friends and making new ones. Just a reminder, if you know someone or see someone not part of the Klub with a Newmar unit, help them get signed up and join the fun and fellowship including joining one of our chapters.
