Hello Newmar Friends! Since our last article we’ve attended the Region Six Rally in May in Shipsee. It was great. The food was excellent and there was so much to do, shopping, biking, campfires each night and going to an Amish home for dinner was the best. A huge thank-you to our Region Six Directors, Chuck & Michelle Steenwyk for being awesome hosts!

The Michigan Aire Kampers (Charter #5) will have celebrated their 35th Anniversary with cake at the International Rally! They also had their Chapter Rally in Turkeyville in June! A huge thank you to our hosts the Van Loo’s and the Williams. I got to learn a new game Fast Track and we met some new couples who became members. The smaller size group gave us a great opportunity to visit and learn more about each other

We will also attend our other Chapter, the Great Lakers Rally at Holland State Park in June. I’m sure it will be a Great Time as well!

Then in July we were at our family camping week in Cadillac, followed by the International Rally in West Virginia, which is also now in the books. Looking forward to connecting with everyone from all over.

Next is our Michigan State Rally at the Soo Locks, in Sault Ste. Marie. I think we have 23 units coming. I was very excited for everyone to enjoy themselves, visiting, eating, watching the Freighters and of course shopping the quaint little stores downtown.

The Michigan Aire Kampers are also planning a rally at the end of September in Muskegon. More details to follow.

On a personal note also, one of our other grandsons is getting married in September, so as you can see, we have a very busy summer. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer and traveling in their Newmar units and meeting new friends. Safe Travels to All!
