This time a year ago who would have thought that gasoline would be around $4.00 and diesel would be $5.00 a gallon. I am sure that the price of gas and diesel will affect many RVers’ travel plans and distance until the price of fuel and gas goes down.

I had my coach stored at my place in Florida for the winter. Nancy & I were not able to make it to Florida this past winter because of medical issues. Last week we went to Okeechobee to pick up our coach. It is 935 miles from my home in Kentucky to Okeechobee, Florida. I purchased $1,000 dollars of diesel fuel to get home. I had less than a 1/4 of a tank of fuel left when I got home.

Nancy & I got our income taxes done by 4:00 pm on the last day to file without an extension.

We celebrated one of my favorite Sundays of the year last week, Easter! Our family always has an Easter Dinner. The first family get together this year. It is also a very important day for Christians who celebrate the resurrection. I remember when the ladies would wear an Easter Bonnet. That is now a tradition in the past.

I hope to see many of my Newmar friends this summer. Happy Trails until we meet again.
