I am writing this in the middle of February, but spring must be just around the corner. Daffodils (March Flowers) are beginning to peep up through the ground. I was in a couple of the big box stores last week, and they have garden seeds and lawn mowers out on display. NCAA March Madness is being discussed on the Sport Channels. These things all indicate that spring is almost here. Spring will be here when you are ready.

March and April means that many snow birds will be beginning their migration back north. I hope all made it back safe and without mechanical troubles.

I have a current pleasure that many of you don’t have. My mother is still living. I am currently taking her to radiation treatments five times a week. Nancy and I are not sure what activities we will be able to attend this year.

There are many rallies planned this summer. Many more Newmar products will be vying for the available rally spots. Please reserve your spots as soon as you know what your summer schedule will be to not be disappointed.

Please try to attend the Kentucky State Rally in May. The rally dates are May 5-8. You will be responsible for making your own camping reservations. Spring Hills RV Park 270-773-3789. The Kentucky State Rally fee is $140.00. Your rally fee includes a barbecue sandwich dinner, a country buffet, breakfast @ Cracker Barrel, Donuts, coffee, juice breakfast, derby pie & ice cream, entrance to Corvette Museum, Tour to Chaney Dairy Farm with ice cream.

If you want to take a cave tour, Mammoth Cave National Park recommends that you make advance reservations. There are several different tours to choose from. They have different lengths, distances and levels of difficulty. Each Tour has a different price. Mammoth Cave 877- 444- 6777. The web address is www.nps.gov/maca/planyourvisit/gocave tours. THE COST of Cave Tours IS NOT INCLUDED in the RALLY FEE.

Thursday May 5th and Saturday morning the 7th are free times. That is the time you need to make your tours. When I receive your reservation for the rally, I will send you a description and pricing of the tours.

I am sorry that I have been late to get information out about our rally, but I have had a big pot that I have been stirring with several different size spoons the last four months.
