Greetings from Region Seven. Wow! We have had a great rally season. Our chapters this year have put together some great rallies. We have traveled from Vermont to Pennsylvania and to West Virginia for the Klub’s 35th International Rally. The rally was enjoyed by all. Over 450 coaches were parked and settled in for a week of seminars, meetings, entertainment, and food. We would like to thank Newmar for sending most of their techs to work on our coaches. As usual they met the challenge and serviced every member’s coach that was signed up for work. THANK YOU! Region Seven oversaw the vendors, mail and ice cream social. We want to thank all our Region Seven’s volunteers for stepping up and giving us their time to make our task easy. We also gathered for a dessert social where over 100 members had the opportunity to see old friends and make new ones.
As you noticed our magazine has a new name the Legacy. The Klub felt the name truly fit the legacy that the Miller family represented.
Just returned from the Pennsylvania State Rally where State Directors Wayne & Sue Burke put together a busy and unique itinerary that kept us moving! We viewed the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon of the north and even had a covered wagon ride through the canyon which ended with a cowboy lunch. We also had the opportunity to tour the Elliot Ness Museum and a Lumber Museum. Thanks Wayne and Sue.
Next, it’s off to a rally with New England States Directors Jim and Donna McAllister in Connecticut where we will all experience dry camping! It should be a HOOT! It will be something different. Our new members and even some of our veteran members will learn that you really can dry camp with these coaches.
We now have new New York Directors John and Diane Svatek. John and Diane have accepted the position and will do well guiding the two New York chapters. They will be taking on this position effected September 1, 2021. They will be following Bob and Barb Engel who have decided to retire after 10 years. We want to thank Bob and Barb for all their leadership and help over the years.
Region Seven will be having their rally in Booth Bay, Maine October 7-10. We will be enjoying the sites and food that Maine is known for. Lobster is on the menu! We will also be having a leadership seminar during the rally. It is hoped that we can have a meeting where we can guide our current officers and encourage members to step up and take on an office.
Drive Safe! As always we can be reached at email bobjanehadley@aol.com or Bob 401-808-9030 or Jane 401-808-9031.
