Greetings from Region Seven. It’s May 1st as we sit here in Florida trying to figure out what to write about for this June/July issue! Hopefully we’re all healthy and this new virus has not knocked on any ones door. We’re all doing our part to help stop the spread of this deadly illness. Yes, our lives have been turned upside down, inside out and we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. Yes, it’s scary but we will get through it. Sometime this year we will all welcoming a new normal with open arms being thankful for what we have and not what we had a few months ago. Our RV life style will soon begin. Looking forward to sitting around a rally campfire sharing stories of what we all just went through. We sure will have lots to talk about!
Yes, we’re still in sunny Florida and look forward to traveling home soon. Our grown “kids” keep telling us to stay put! Rhode Island is sandwiched between MA and NY and RI holding it’s own. We do expect to be issued a stay in place order when we cross into RI. No problem , we had already decided to do it anyway. Thank goodness for the RV. Only stopping for fuel and sleep in rest areas. Looks like Jane will be doing more driving this trip. We usually switch every few hours at rest areas! Before you know it we’ll be checking off the list- fuel full, full fresh water tank, empty holding tanks, slides in, jacks up, aired up and dingy hooked up! Oh – Co pilot on board very important!!!!
Region Seven has had to cancel some rallies but some are still pending. Questions on rally cancellations call rally hosts and check COE on line or in the Konnection!
This summer looks quiet but you may find “pop up” rallies. A pop up rally is when someone mentions they’re going away for a few days and shares the dates and location. You make your own reservations and bring your own food. You’ll be surprised at the number of people that will show!
