New York Lakers – President and Secretary

With the New Year we have some new officers. Joanne & I were reelected as President and Secretary. Paul Mayer and John Wihlen decided to retire as Vice President and Treasurer. We would like to thank them for their service in 2021. Dave Woodward was nominated for Vice President and Barb Engel was nominated for Treasurer. We look forward to working with them as Lakers move into the New Year.

Winter is a time the chapter has to slow down and we are also separated with a number of people in Florida or Texas. Joanne & I will be starting in Florida visiting Klub members and then travel along the Gulf Coast to Texas to visit family. By the time this has been published, we will have held our first luncheon for those remaining in New York. A great time to visit and catch-up for members and honorary members.

Winter is also a time to finish plans for the 2022 camping season. Lakers will have three chapter rallies as well as the New York State rally and International to round out the year.
