April Danley & Colin Smith (23305)
New Jersey Garden Aires – President and Vice President
We had our State Rally in Cape May, New Jersey, and boy did we have a wonderful turnout despite the weather. We had winds for three days at 55 mph gusting to 60+. The Coast Guard even canceled their Open House Festival, and that is a big event! I would like to thank Michael & Barbra Agrati for doing an excellent job! And another big Thank You for all of our members and guests who stepped up to the plate to help make a bad weather situation a great turnout! We had excellent cooks, and we sure needed the help! Thank You All!
As for Colin & I we have been remodeling our very old house, and it just seems like when we are done, something else breaks. The barn roof started to leak, ok we got that lined up to get fixed. Then the central air conditioning gave up on the first hot day in the 90s. Oh well! Then of course the price of fuel that I know everyone is encountering along with everything else. We shall all move forward to continue on to our next journey!
Our sheep have had all their lambs, and they are so cute! We had one we had to bottle feed, and that is a big chore. He is so spoiled! Also very cute!
We are working on a fall rally as I write this article. Very tuff in the state of New Jersey to find a place that can handle our big rigs. So if any one of you can recommend a campground or place please reach out so we can look at it and make arrangements. Even for next year.
See you down the road. We can be reached at email: danleyfarm@gmail.com.
