This edition of the Legacy magazine comes to you with the 2021 International Rally in the rearview mirror and planning already in full swing for the 2022 rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming, next July. As this is about as far west as the International Rally gets, we hope to see a large contingent of coaches from Region One present at the rally. Let’s all get the rally on our calendars and make travel plans around the International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Before we file the 35th International Rally in the completed file, we want to thank all the volunteers that signed up to help Region One in food service. This year’s food service was very hands on and we needed more volunteers than ever and boy how our members stepped up! We had whole family groups sign up, including fabulous grandkids, and volunteers that signed up to help at multiple meals. That’s what makes our rallies so great and we had fun didn’t we!
October is a big month for Newmar rallies in Region One:
• October 20-24 is the Arizona State Rally in Casa Grande, Arizona.
• October 26-29 Mary & I host the Region One Rally in Benson, Arizona.
• October 31- November 3 is the Nevada State/Chapter joint rally in Boulder City, Nevada.
After hosting the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta October 1-6 and the Arizona State Rally October 20-24, Ted & Ruth Ann Hindes are stepping aside from their directorship role in the Kountry Klub. They have been Arizona State Directors for many years and have always been gracious enough to help others at their rallies, Region One and at the international rallies. They have truly been wonderful leaders in the Kountry Klub team. Mary & I wish them only the best in their future travels and still look forward to seeing them both at future Kountry Klub events. Ted & Ruth Ann, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
For all our Arizona Kountry Klub members, don’t fret. Your past Sun Catchers Presidents, Duane Paige & Laurie Hunt, have stepped up to take on the rewarding position of Arizona State Directors and will assume their duties after the State Rally in Casa Grande. We look forward to having Duane & Laurie as part of the Newmar leadership team. Based on their previous performance as Arizona Sun Catcher presidents, we know the Arizona directorship is in great hands.
As a quick note: The California Golden Aires rally in March of 2022 has been moved to the Pechanga RV Resort in Temecula, California and the dates have been changed to March 4-7. If you have already registered to attend the event in Indio and this change does not work for you, please contact Ken Wilson.
There are a number of rallies being posted for the 2022 rally season for Region One as well as across the country so continue to check out the Klub Calendar on the website and attend the events that you can fit into your busy schedules.
