As I write this article the calendar is getting ready to roll over into 2021 and boy are we ready to say goodbye to 2020. The vaccines are starting to roll out and I pray this helps us start on the path to normalcy in our lives. Enough said.

2021 is seeing some officer positions in Region One change:

• The Colorado Krusin Aires Presidents, Randy & Kathy Bohmeyer, after six (6) years of service to the Klub are stepping aside and turning over the reins to Chuck & Lynda Gumeson. We welcome Chuck & Lynda and thank them for stepping up to lead the Krusin Aires. Kathy has graciously offered to take the treasurer’s position so the transition will be completely seamless, I’m sure. We truly thank Randy & Kathy for their years of leadership.
• The California 49ers needed to fill the void left by Jan & Cheryl Freeman who departed California for Idaho. We wish them well in their new home and who knows, maybe Idaho can get a chapter going with their help! Tom & Nancy Wills have stepped up to be presidents of the 49ers and Danny & Merri Estrada have volunteered to be their vice-presidents. Both couples have been involved with the Kountry Klub for a number of years and I know they will do a great job of leading the 49ers.
• Our final officer change for 2021 is Tom & Teri Chelbana returning as California Golden Aires officers taking the vice president position vacated when Bob & Teresa Solomon Billings took over the California state directorship. We’re saying welcome back to Tom & Teri because they have previously been presidents of the Golden Aires.

As of this article there is one chapter rally in March; the Sun Catchers’ March 18-22, as well as the California State Rally April 11-15 still on schedule. Unfortunately the March Golden Aires rally had to be cancelled. Please check the website calendar of events for the most current status
