As this edition of the Konnection reaches you, we are rolling into August. The International Rally has come and gone and as always, a great success in a beautiful region of our country. A huge “Thank You” and congratulations to our International Directors along with our Klub office staff for all the scrambling and reworking of plans that were done to accomplish such an outstanding outcome, while still dealing with Covid restrictions that varied across the country.
Mary & I are looking forward to hosting the Region One Rally in October in Benson, Arizona. Our rally is sandwiched between the Arizona State and the Nevada State/Chapter rallies and we expect a great turnout at all three.
We are announcing three more Region One Rallies starting off the 2022 rally season:
- California Golden Aires March 24-27, – Indian Waters, Indio, California
- Arizona Sun Catchers April 1-5, – Palm Creek Resort, Casa Grande, Arizona
- California 49ers April 24-28, – Monterey County Fairgrounds, Monterey, California
These three rallies are up on the calendar and by the time you read this there may be a few more Region One Rallies on the books. Take a look online at the Klub Calendar.
I would like to take a moment to thank our Region One Team Leaders at the International Rally, Marty & Marion Marcum, and Robert & Teresa Solomon-Billings. Their efforts are always above and beyond. All the volunteers that gave of their time to assist with food service, vendor signage and the poker run – you were exemplary and we truly thank you for your assistance to the Klub and helping to make the rally such a great success.
