Hurray! COVID-19 masks are currently not required in many Nevada locations if a person has had both of the vaccine injections. Masks are still required in medical offices and facilities. The recent vaccine success is gratifying but we must still exercise caution because of those not yet vaccinated. The pandemic is still causing issues as some state and private venues will remain closed until 2022.
In May, in preparation for our trip to the Newmar International Rally in West Virginia, we headed North and West to Henderson’s Line Up in Grants Pass Oregon for installation of a set of Motion Control Valves and a Safe-T-Plus Steering Stabilizer. Then, on to Davis Cabinets in Junction City, Oregon for almost a month to get some interior remodeling work performed on our Dutch Star.
Note that masks were/are required in all Oregon venues including grocery stores, restaurants, shops, etc.
We will drive from Northwestern Nevada to the Newmar International Rally in West Virginia and will see a lot of the very hot and flat Central Plains States. The further East we go the higher the humidity will be. Yes, summer has arrived with high temperatures, high winds and storms to be dealt with.
We are excited to be attending the Newmar International Rally. As always there will be great people, great food, interesting seminars and discussions, great display coaches and chassis’s with new and refined features to peak our interests and desires. The numerous vendors will show us all of the latest and greatest add-on’s for our rigs. The opening ceremony and welcome speeches will display the professionalism of Newmar as a company.
Later in the year we will be heading south to the October 30th Nevada State / Mother Lode Chapter Rally at Lake Mead RV Village Park in the Lake Mead National Recreational Area. We’re planning a tour of the T Mobile Arena (Home of the Vegas Golden Knights) is set for Monday November 1st.
If you travel, be safe.
