Colorado Krusin Aires – Presidents
As I write this, Chuck & I are in very snowy Park City, Utah, visiting our son and family for the Christmas Holiday. The skiing here is great as we have been having a good dose of snow over the past few days! We arrived here via our car as our Magic Bus is parked and tucked into its storage space until we take off in March for our annual visit to Arizona.
In November, about 15 of us gathered at a little restaurant in Castle Rock, Colorado for lunch and were able to trade all sorts of stories about our motorhome adventures! Everyone had some good tales to share about their summer travels, and then of course the good, the bad, and the ugly. A few laughs, a few moans and groans for those who had experienced the dreaded breakdowns, but mostly fun and helpful hints and experiences were exchanged. It was fun getting together and renewing friendships and catching up!
We will be having our annual rally in Fort Collins, Collins, at the Lakeside KOA, gathering on June 13th for 3 nights. Reservations must be made through Lynda & Chuck before requesting a spot with the KOA as we expect to again have a waiting list. We all know how “life happens” and things change, so you may certainly get an opportunity to join us even if we fill up our spaces. We have a total of 16 pull through sites for the rally. Our contact information is listed below. Fort Collins is close to Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and various reservoirs and rivers so it looks to be a good place to explore some of the offerings of northern Colorado.
Most of us from the Colorado Kruisin Aires will be attending the NKK International at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs, WY in July as it is quite close to our neck of the woods. We hope to see many of our other Newmar friends there and share our enthusiasm for the western side of this great country. It should be wonderful and memorable, so put on your cowboy hat and come along!
Watch for us out on the road. We can be reached at email chuckandlynda@gmail.com Chuck’s cell phone 303-941-0907 or Lynda’s cell phone 303-907-8211.
