Colorado Krusin Aires – Presidents
We are shoveling our sidewalks today here in Centennial, Colorado and looking forward to taking off one week from today, in the comfort of our Magic Bus, and heading to sunny Arizona! Wheels up and rolling again! We are first headed to Cave Creek and then down to Tucson where we hope to see some of our Newmar Kountry Klub friends who have also escaped from the cold weather. The skiing has just finally gotten good here in the Colorado Rockies, but Arizona is calling us to enjoy some warmth, and some rounds of golf, for a while!
We have three new members for our chapter club and look forward to welcoming them!
Our travels are quite busy until we host the rally here in Colorado in mid-June up in Fort Collins. The rally will start on Monday June 13th and departure will be Thursday June 16th. The location is the Fort Collins Lakeside KOA, and we have reserved 16 pull-thru sites and we are filling quickly. Please know that if you are directed to a waitlist, you may still have the opportunity to join us; as we all know how “life happens” and there will be cancellations. We have a white-water raft adventure scheduled and a dinner at a popular Mexican Restaurant owned by one of our members. We have a wonderful conference center reserved for our exclusive use, and we are quite close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We also have a fun, short walking tour planned, and that is the “Forbidden Fort Collins” tour. We are planning to have a representative from Transwest Truck and Trailer join us for a few hours and give us a tech talk. We are working on some other adventures, too. Please go to the Newmar Kountry Klub website to register if you’d like to join us, and your hosts will then be notified that you have registered. We will also have all of your information and your signed release. This just helps so much with our planning! Then you should call the campground and make your campsite reservations.
Most of us from the Colorado Kruisin Aires will be attending the NKK International at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs in July, and we hope to see many of our other Newmar friends there and share our enthusiasm for the western side of this great country! Grab your cowboy hat and come along!
Watch for us out there on the road, and give us a wave when you spot the Magic Bus (our 33 foot New Aire)!
