Greetings from Southern California. We hope that everyone experienced a wonderful holiday with their family and friends. We had the best Christmas gift of all. Our two grandsons came home from college for the holiday. It was great to see them both, even though it was just for a short while.

With 2021 in the rearview mirror, we are sure you are all looking forward to going to as many Newmar rallies as can fit into our 2022 schedules. And we are looking forward to hugging old friends and making new acquaintances throughout the new year. We are especially excited about traveling to the Newmar International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming in July where we will interact with all the Newmar representatives and immerse in the Newmar lifestyle, whether Fulltime or intermittent RVers.

We are pleased to report the California Golden Aires Chapter continues to grow each year. Leah & I extend a big thank you for your support of our chapter. And we hope to see old acquaintances and make new friends throughout this new year. (Nudge to every member that has not updated their 2022 dues to do so.)

The California Golden Aires will be hosting a 3-day rally starting March 4-7 at the Pechanga RV Resort in Temecula, California which is just sheer minutes from wine tasting and Historic Old Town with a PGA golf course and casino only a shuttle bus trip away! Nestled in the picturesque hills of Temecula Wine Country, Pechanga RV Resort is an award-winning venue that offers its guests endless opportunities for excitement, relaxation and fun. Plan to arrive earlier or extend your stay, or both. We are finalizing our rally agenda and are almost full, but we most certainly will have a waiting list. Reminder: The rally roster will probably be full by the time you receive the February/March Legacy magazine.
