Greetings Earthlings (Alien space talk). Your California State Directors have been beamed up to a far, far, and extra far away galaxy. Seems they stopped their travels and tried to hide for a while, but we found their RV spaceship in a remote hilly section of what you call Tennessee? The young beautiful blond, one who we call extraterrestrial #1, is cooperating with our scans and appears just as intelligent as we. The other one, who we call extraterrestrial weirdo #2, is not cooperating, keeps trying to escape and yells loudly, “take me to your leader.” Weirdo #2 also keeps yelling it’s over, it’s over, it’s over except for the phone calls and tries to pull what we learned was hair from the top of his head. But alas earthlings, we have subdued him with our powerful arrays. Wait, we just learned what weirdo #2 has been talking about. It’s something about the elections? Republicans vs Democrats? What are these earthlings? Weirdo #2 also continues to ramble in his earthly voice there are no more political advertisements of “he said this or did this and, she said this or did this to each other” and something about the numerous California propositions? Earthlings, we now have a small grasp on what weirdo #2 is talking about, but the one we still do not understand earthlings is, what is phone calls of “your vehicle extended warranty is expiring soon?” Does your RV spaceship expire earthlings? We need to study this more so we are returning the beautiful one and weirdo #2 to your galaxy.

So, from my wild dream of being abducted by aliens, my thoughts turn to what happened to my hair? No, I still have my hair, but let us talk briefly about RV extended warranties. Some will say RV extended warranties are good. Others will say don’t waste your money after the initial runs out. My comments are, we used the initial warranty period to fix the problems which showed up and bought into the extended warranty. We found our extended warranty through our own research that fit us and have used it many times. Your call on extended warranties, but do your own research on what is or is not good for you. Don’t go with an extended warranty from someone calling on the phone or what someone says is a good warranty. Do your own research, it will pay-off when you need it.

As of this writing, the California Governor has imposed COVID 19 restrictions on us again, due to the virus raising its ugly head. Please do your part and let’s beat this virus so we can move on and have many, many fun and exciting social gatherings. Please check the Newmar Kountry Klub website for rallies in your local, state and of course, the big fun and exciting International Rally in West Virginia this year. The International rally has always been a lot of fun for us, a chance to see old friends and make new ones. Plus, the food and entertainment has always been top notch and you never know, you might win one of the many, many door prizes. I would like to say thank you to a few folks for stepping up and volunteering to fill vacant Chapter officer’s positions in our California Chapters. Thank you, Tom & Nancy Wills for stepping up to be the California 49er President. Thank you, Danny & Merri Estrada for stepping up to be the Vice President of the 49ers and thank you Tom & Terrie Chelbana for stepping up to be the Vice President of the Golden Aires. Yes, you too can still step up to serve in a position, just call. Teresa & I pledge to make the California chapter’s fun and exciting chapters to be in.

Yes, as of this writing, the elections are over, Thanksgiving, Christmas holidays and the New Year of 2021 has now entered our lives. We hope each and every one of you enjoyed your holidays and have made some type of commitment to get out and enjoy your beautiful and luxurious Newmar coach. COVID-19, we hope and pray the vaccine is successful and our nation is strong so we can move on to better times.
