WOW— Being retired and owning a Newmar – What a Life! After upgrading to our Dutch Star and retiring two years ago everything we were hoping for is going better than expected. We have been able to travel to new places, attend several rallies and have made a lot of new friends. Despite COVID and the current gas prices, the start of our new adventure in life is a blast.

As this is written the International Rally in Rock Springs, Wyoming is just about ready to start, and Nancy & I are looking forward to our first International Rally to see what all the hype is about. Before we get there, we will be traveling with two other coaches up to Sisters, Oregon so my wife and the other ladies can attend the annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show for a few days.

From there we will take about a week seeing the sites on our way to the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs. After what we know will be a great time learning, enjoying the festivities and meeting up with old (long time) friends and meeting new ones, we will be joining the Taste of the West Caravan.

From there we will head home for 3-4 weeks to get things back in order so we can leave again for another couple of months to the Region One Rally, the annual Shelby Bash, Arizona State Rally, Nevada State Rally, a NASCAR race and end with a few relaxing weeks in Pismo Beach before we head home to get ready for the holidays.

And I thought I was busy when I actually had a job…
