Arizona State Directors

It has been a busy spring for Region One! Two California rallies, State and Golden Aires, at the end of February and beginning of March. April begins with our Arizona Suncatchers Chapter Rally in Casa Grande, Arizona, and a few days later we will be in Silver City, New Mexico joining the Chile Peppers and the New Mexico State Joint Rally. We then take a couple weeks off before we head to Monterey, California to hang with the 49ers – the Klub, not the football team! The absolute best part of rallies is getting to spend time with all your friends, although the seminars, events and meals are pretty good also!

Duane and I are excited to head to Rock Springs, Wyoming in July for the International Rally. We look forward each year to all that this event has to offer. Again, this year we will be working the Information Desk. Volunteering really is a great way to meet people and have a lot of fun. I strongly encourage everyone to get involved somewhere! There are always a lot of different teams looking for help around the rally site, and sign-up sheets are kept at the Information Desk so stop by, meet us, and sign up!

Finally, as fall comes around this year Region One will close down with a few bangs! We head for the Region One Rally in Paso Robles California, followed by a turn north to Jackson Rancheria for the Golden Bears Chapter Rally. Then we will be hosting our Arizona State Rally in Ehrenberg, Arizona at the brand-new River Sands RV Park. We are still very much in the planning stages for our rally, so keep an eye on the Newmar Kountry Klub calendar for additional information.
