Region Nine Directors
I saw a sign the other day that said, “If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you,” author unknown.
In our life, we face many obstacles each day. Sometimes these challenges are hard enough to make us frustrated and physically or mentally weak. We tend to avoid these problems rather than facing them with courage. Because of that, many people are living lives in which they are not growing. These people are afraid to leave their comfort zone and not ready to face their challenges. But if you won’t face your challenges with courage, your life will never change. These obstacles are your way to a better life and a better you. Challenges come with opportunities for us which we fail to see. Take some examples of our freedom fighters. They went through many hardships in their life to make our country free from our enemies. But they never made an excuse or never gave up. They accepted all the obstacles with a bright smile on their face and fought till their last breath until we got freedom.
The Alberta Wild Rose chapter has a new president just waiting to fill the position. The young energetic couple from Calgary would like to see a Secretary/Treasurer put into place as soon as possible. If you would like to step up and help the chapter grow and meet a lot of Newmar people along the way, then let me know and I can fill you in. I am hoping to set up a lunch with Alberta chapter in Red Deer on our way through this summer. If you have any suggestions as to a location, please let me know.
It’s not too late to register for the two rallies in Region Nine. Check with the respective hosts to make sure there is space available.
Joanne & I are very busy this summer with the Eastern Canada Caravan, having our Region 9 Rally (Acheson) and attending the International Rally in Rock Springs. It’s time to get those wheels back to rolling along in this great land we call home. If you have an adventure to share, send it to us and we can post it on the Region Nine Facebook page.

If you’re planning on attending the International Rally and would like to volunteer some time at the Klub Store, which Region Nine is responsible for, then please let us know and we can schedule you in. It’s a fun and rewarding way to meet your fellow Newmar Members and make some lifelong friends and memories.
If you have a Facebook account, please consider joining the Region Nine Facebook page. It’s a great way to stay in touch with your fellow members and stay on top of what’s happening, not to mention the helpful suggestions our members post.
The Klub now has a great online store with many of the great things you can get at the International Rally or at the Klub office. You will need to call the Klub office to get the cost of shipping to Canada, but it will be well worth it…. Or just go to the International Rally and purchase directly from the Klub store.
We sometimes feel like no one is reading these articles so I have a challenge for everyone……post the single word “NEWMAR” on the Region Nine Facebook page to show us you are reading this…..It’s that simple.
June is one of my favorite months of the year…it’s the month that summer begins here in Canada. RV season is well underway so why not get out and enjoy it in any way you can. OH, and one cannot forget it’s the month that has Father’s Day too.
