Region Nine Directors
As we have not been traveling for past few months, there have been no signs to report so instead here are some of the most iconic signs in the world. How many have you seen? Beverly Hills, Hollywood Sign, Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada, The Radio City Music Hall, Route 66, Penny Lane, Nathan’s Famous hot dog stand, Wrigley Field, Pike Place Market, Tim Hortons – Always fresh, Blockbuster Video, you are now entering the world-famous Alaska Highway. This is just the tip of the iceberg for famous signs along the many highways and byways in this great land we call home.
We would like to shout out to all the Canadian Folks a Happy Victoria Day, and to all the American Folks a Happy Memorial Day!
The Alberta Wild Rose chapter has a new president just waiting to fill the position. The young energetic couple from Calgary would like to see a Secretary/Treasurer put into place as soon as possible. If you would like to step up and help the chapter grow and meet a lot of Newmar people along the way, then let me know and I can fill you in. I am hoping to set up a lunch with the Alberta chapter in Red Deer on our way through this summer. If you have any suggestions as to a location, please let me know.
Let’s not forget the No Host rallies. These are simple, easy, and fun to do. Just pick an RV Park, call and block out a few sites, and confirm price. Post details on the Facebook page or let us know and we can do that for you. Time permitting, we can also post on the calendar of events page on the Klub website. And of course lest we forget the Klub luncheons….again easily set up and fun to do.

— Region Nine Rally: Glowing Embers RV Park Acheson, Albert July 28-30. Join us for the “Making Memories Rally” where we will be joined by the Newmar Alaska Caravan who will be stopping here on their way North.
— British Columbia Dogwood Chapter Rally – St. Eugene RV Park, Cranbrook, British Columbia on July 8-10. More details are being posted on the Klub Calendar and Region Nine Facebook site very soon.
If you’re planning on attending the International Rally and would like to volunteer some time at the Klub Store which Region Nine is responsible for then please let us know and we can schedule you in. It’s a fun and rewarding way to meet your fellow Newmar Members and make some lifelong friends and memories.
