It feels wonderful to be home after living in our RV for 6 months this winter. You really realize how big your house is when you start to clean it. RVing sure does spoil us.

As this is written in June we will be having a Combined State Rally with Illinois and Iowa in southern Illinois at Whittington Woods in Whittington, Illinois. They have a very accommodating RV park, and our only complaint is we were not able to get Satellite in the woods. We had stopped there on our way home from Texas. We plan to visit a lavender farm where we will also enjoy lunch. The next day we will visit Rend Lake with a guest speaker to give us some history of the lake. They have a historic jail and antique car museum nearby, which will be another place to explore.

Our next rally in June is hosted by Tom & Mayola Dean Pana, Illinois. This is a chapter rally, for IKK, our southern chapter, the Illini Kountry Kussins. This will be a new location, and a new RV park. They plan to keep us busy viewing mansions and the local area. I’m sure they will do great job hosting the rally.

Next, in July we will be off to International in Wyoming. We’ve been to Gillette twice, so this will be a different location in Rock Springs. We will be team leaders of the craft contest.

After the International Rally, we plan to meet some of our friends from Texas in Galena, Illinois to catch up over the summer.

We will be home for a short visit before we head to Eads, Colorado where Richard is from. They are having an all-school reunion which always draws a crowd. Many of his brothers and sisters are also in attendance. From Colorado we will go to Minnesota for the Regional Four Rally. Again, this is an area we’ve never been to so we will enjoy exploring
