Virginia Wheels is happy to announce that in 2021, 11 new members were welcomed to our Virginia Wheels’ family. Many of them attended our rally in Luray as well as the NKK International Rally. It’s exciting to witness the enthusiasm of our new members!
WOW! Virginia Wheelers have certainly enjoyed themselves beginning on June 17 as we celebrated our 30th NKK Anniversary in Luray, Virginia at Luray KOA. Lots of adventures touring Luray Caverns and the surrounding areas. Lots of food including breakfast at the historic Mimslyn Inn to the Broke Down BBQ food truck as well as pizza, scrumptious dinner buffet, and farewell breakfast. All 40 attendees had lots of laughs as well as gained at least 10 pounds. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship in the beautiful Luray setting. Fun continued as Virginia Wheelers adjourned to Lewisburg, West Virginia to enjoy the NKK International Rally! Virginia tied for 2nd with 29 coaches in attendance. Virginia Wheelers were scattered in camping areas throughout, but that didn’t matter. We wheeled everywhere and had lots of fun being together! The rally abounded with entertainment, seminars, tours, vendors, early am service line, meals, socials, etc. Still there was plenty of time to enjoy the fellowship with our Virginia Wheels’ family as well as other NKK members. Thank you, Ron & Wanda Llewelyn, for all your time and effort to make this rally a cherished fun-filled memory! As this is written many of us are looking forward to gathering together again September 29-October 2 at the Virginia State Rally at Americamps in Ashland, Virginia, as well as October 12-17 for the Region Five Rally in Dillard, Georgia.
