Virginia Wheels – Presidents

Hello from sunny Florida! Gloria and I finally made it down here for the winter. We ordered our new Dutch Star from NIRVC in September with a March-April delivery date, and we were pleasantly surprised when it came off the production line in January. Thank you NIRVC and Newmar for allowing us to enjoy the Florida winter for two months.

Our Y’All Come Gathering at the Tampa Super Show was a success, and we were able to visit with our snowbird members over lunch and had a wonderful time. Plus, we were able to see several Newmar Motorhomes and visited with some perspective buyers on why we keep going with Newmar and not another brand. Maybe we will have an opportunity to meet them at one of the International Rallies in the future.

Speaking of rallies, our Virginia Wheels Rally is coming up May 12-16 in Williamsburg, Virginia at the American Heritage RV Park. We have an exciting rally planned, and our rally team has been helpful, engaged and we thank them for their participation. Since this is our first rally as Presidents, we are so happy to have help and enthusiasm from Tommy and Becky Rygiel, Nick and Margee Mangus, and Mike and Tipper Bradford as rally team members.

Our Virginia State Rally is June 1-5 at Tall Pines Harbor Campground. We are sorry we will miss it and the International Rally as we are going to Alaska on a trip that we planned two years ago, but due to COVID is finally happening this summer. However, we are planning to attend the 2023 International Rally in Sedalia!
